Dr. Cicchirillo’s research focuses upon the study of new media technologies. Primarily, upon the influence of video game play features and contexts on post-game play outcomes. Other research interests include cyber-bullying and teasing behaviors among college students. Also, he has a single author book chapter in the Handbook of Research on Digital Media and Advertising and a co-authored book chapter in the Handbook of Research on Computer Mediated Communication.
