Eun is a doctoral student in the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Her current research interests are about the power of nontraditional media such as sponsorship or event marketing as an advertising tool and the effect of celebrity endorsement. In the same vein, she is interested in how various types of sponsorship influence the creditability of an advertising message and consumers’ attitudes and behaviors. Also, she seeks to understand how nontraditional media impacts on branding.
Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Eun worked for several years at Samsung as an assistant brand manager. She was in charge of company advertising, especially print-ads and event sponsorship. She also interned at the Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas during her college years.
