Eunice Kim is a second year doctoral student in the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds an M.A. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Mass Communication and History from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
Her research interests include consumers' responses to advertising in new media and new marketing communication technologies; cross-cultural consumer psychology; and health communication through new technologies. Specifically, she is interested in understanding the social and psychological factors that influence the effectiveness of online and mobile video advertising across new advertising platforms (e.g. online video sites, mobile applications, and video games). Before pursuing her graduate degrees, she worked as an assistant account planner at DDB Worldwide and a research assistant at Yonsei School of Business in South Korea. Eunice served as a teaching assistant for an Advertising Media Planning and Psychology of Advertising class, and as an Interactive Media Lab assistant at the University of Texas at Austin.
