Jhih-Syuan (Elaine) Lin’s research interests are consumer-brand relationships, media psychology, interactive advertising, and cross-cultural consumer psychology. She has conducted research on self-concept, brand commitment, multichannel media branding, media engagement, and corporate social responsibility. Her works have been presented at the annual conferences of American Academy of Advertising (AAA) and American Psychological Association (APA) and published in the Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media, and Journal of Interactive Advertising. Before pursuing her graduate degree, Elaine worked for several years as a marketing executive in Taiwan and as a public relations intern in Jacksonville, FL. She was a recipient of Tracy-Locke/Morris Hite Endowed Presidential Scholarship for Advertising Studies (2010-2011).
