Jin Young (Jinnie) Yoo is a Ph.D. student of Department of Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin; Her research interests include:

  1. multicultural advertising with a focus on diverse cultural cues in advertising message
     
  2. new media uses among minority population
     
  3. cross-cultural consumer behavior and psychology
     
  4. global branding. Prior to her graduate degree, she worked in a marketing consulting firm as a brand communication consultant for two years. During her works, she projected annual and seasonal marketing/communication strategies for diverse brands and participated in a number of overseas expansion projects in Asian countries including Japan, China, and other Southeast Asian countries.
