Natalie is a second-year advertising Ph.D. student at the University of Texas at Austin. She received an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications at Florida International University and a B.S. in Public Relations at the University of Florida.

With nearly 10 years of work experience, Natalie has worked at CSX, Corp., Macy's, Inc. and boutique firm, Jazzy Productions, Inc. in public relations, advertising and special events. At Macy's, Inc., Natalie promoted brands with celebrity spokespersons including Power (50 Cent), Hugo Boss (Robin Thicke), QUEEN, Apple Bottoms and Patti LaBelle Bedding. Natalie's research interests include branding, counterfeit luxury consumption and pop culture in which two of her papers have been accepted to conferences. She is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Ph.D. Project, Black Media Council and has earned UT's Graduate School Diversity Mentoring Fellowship; and the Graduate Student of the Year and High Achievers awards, both respectively at FIU.
