SeungAe Lee is a doctoral student in the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. She Holds a M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi and a B.S. in Sports Informatics from the University of Seoul, Korea.

Her current research interests involve exploring cross-cultural consumer psychology and behavior, especially in the areas of sports marketing. Also, she is interested in the self-reference effect in advertising as well as social media. These interests include a variety of topics pertaining to consumer culture, message perception, and information processing.
