Yeo Jung Kim is a doctoral candidate in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a M.A. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, and B.A. in Korean Language Education from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. Prior to pursuing graduate degrees, she worked in advertising agencies in Seoul for several years as a copywriter. Ê Her research interests include marketing communications for nonprofit organizations and consumer behavior, consumer skepticism toward cause-related marketing in particular. Her works have been presented at American Academy of Advertising Annual Conference 2007, Burlington, VT and American Academy of Advertising Asia Pacific Conference 2007, Seoul, Korea. Ê She is the winner of Morris Hite/Tracy Locke Endowed Presidential Scholarship 2006-2007 and University Continuing Fellowship 2007-2008. She currently teaches an undergraduate course ADV305 Fundamentals of Advertising.
