Hongmin Ahn

Hongmin Ahn is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a M.A. degree in Advertising. She holds a B.A. degree in Mass Communication from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea, where she was awarded the university scholarship in 1997, 1998, and 1999 as a top honor student. Her primary research interests are in the areas of consumer psychology and brand communication, particularly in branding in the computer-mediated environment. Her current research includes examining the key factors that influence consumer evaluations of co-branding. Her works have been presented and accepted at American Academy of Advertising (AAA) and American Marketing Association (AMA) Marketing Educator's conferences. Before pursuing her graduate degrees, she worked in advertising firms as an account executive for three years. She is currently teaching the 'Creativity and American Culture' course at the University of Texas at Austin.
