Isaac Munoz
Isaac Munoz is a Ph D. student in the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Masters of Science in Marketing from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a focus on International Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University with a focus on Consumer Strategy.
His research interests are in consumer culture (particularly on the influence of cinema, advertising, sports, and politics on consumerism), cross-cultural consumer behavior (particularly on Country-of-Origin and consumer ethnocentrism), account planning, Hispanic advertising, and Consumer-Brand Relationships. His past research has been on the areas of advertising mediums, cross-cultural consumer behavior, and Hispanic advertising and strategy.
Aside from doing research, Isaac really enjoys teaching. During his masters degree he was able to lecture on Marketing Management, International Marketing and Global Consumer Behavior.
Isaac has experience as a Sr. Account Planner with 5+yrs in advertising strategy and research. He joined the Account Planning and Research department of Bromley Communications in 2007 working on General Mills, MillerCoors, Reynolds Wrap, the City of San Antonio, and University of Incarnate Word. Before 2007, he worked in Dallas, TX for Moroch on McDonald's, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Digame, Tia Rosa and Midas.
