Jinnie Yoo
Jin Young (Jinnie) Yoo is a Ph.D. student of Department of Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin; M.A., The University of Texas at Austin (Advertising) and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Communication and Information); B.A., Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Korea (Communication and Information). Her research interests include: (1) multicultural advertising with a focus on diverse cultural cues in advertising message; (2) new media uses among minority population; (3) cross-cultural consumer behavior and psychology; and (4) global branding. Prior to her graduate degree, she worked in a marketing consulting firm as a brand communication consultant for two years. During her works, she projected annual and seasonal marketing/communication strategies for diverse brands and participated in a number of overseas expansion projects in Asian countries including Japan, China, and other Southeast Asian countries.
