Ohyoon Kwon

Ohyoon Kwon is a doctoral student in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin; M.A., University of Texas at Austin; B.A., Sogang University, Seoul, Korea (Business). His areas of research interest are: (1) consumers' brand information search and consumption behaviors in the context of interactive communication environments, with a focus on user-generated content; (2) different types of emotional attachments between consumers and brands through new media such as social networking sites, blogs, and brand communities; and (3) health information search behaviors across media with a focus on different types of motivation. Prior to coming to the University of Texas at Austin, Ohyoon worked in an advertising media agency as a media planner for several years. His past clients include various global advertising agencies and local agencies. In his position, Ohyoon was also responsible for developing an Internet ad-creative delivery and campaign result analysis server and took part in creating a new type of advertising effectiveness index.
