Bill Reeves' research interests are in the areas of cross-cultural consumer behavior, celebrity product placement, and sports celebrity endorsement. His current projects investigate the effectiveness of celebrity product placement as a component of a marketing strategy, as well as cross-cultural differences in decoding of a variety of different messages, including communications involving celebrities, celebrity product placements, and sports related advertising. Prior to commencing his advertising studies, Bill worked as a sports and entertainment agent. His client list included a diverse roster of athletes and entertainers ranging from Olympic and LPGA athletes to singers and models in Asia. Upon leaving the sports marketing industry, Bill enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, where he received both his Bachelor's and Master's in Advertising, and is currently working on his PhD. Bill currently teaches Integrated Communications for Sport (ADV 378/ADV 391/KIN 352) in the Department of Advertising.
