
Communications and Community Liaison: February 2 – May 29
Provides general support to the Public Relations Specialist and the Executive Director, including answering telephones, general inquiry emails, and ensuring a timely information exchange with festival sponsors, the community, and the media. Provides support to the Public Relations Specialist in designing and executing community relations and grassroots promotion campaigns. Coordinates the distribution of printed materials and other promotional materials throughout Austin, and fosters relationships with student unions, other non-profits, community organizations, and groups of interest. Non-Profit Administrative Assistant: February 2 – May 29
Provides general assistance to the Executive Director, including grant writing, administration, and reporting; support in relations with donors and sponsors, board services; and general non-profit administrative assistance. Web Content Editor: February 2 – May 29
In the run up to and during the festival the web content editor will provide content for www.cinelasamericas.org, the Amigos de Cine Las Americas Newsletter, and other partner’s web sites. Must have previous experience of web content provision, copywriting, editing, interviewing, processing still images and video for the web. Must be able to meet deadlines. Spanish a plus.
