We’re always focused on creating and selling advertising opportunities for a number of magazines including NYSE, Proto, Brilliant, Fairway living, and several niche annuals published by Time Inc. and/or time Warner.
We also focus on selling MortorSports sponsorships, as well as providing marketing consulting for several clients in addition to relationships with the NFL, Mayo Clinic and others.
KCo interns have a wide variety of duties, opportunities and training:
Receive one-on-one training with many professionals, refining sales skills, including both email and voicemail
Exposure to many aspects of marketing including PR, Media Planning, Media buying, event planning, logo promotion and many niche marketing disciplines
Training with email writing and management.
Contacting clients, learning to speak in a professional manner.
Learning the KCo CRM program on FileMaker Pro
Learning the steps to effectively track client relationships
Learn to gather information from the internet and database sources
Learn the operations process supporting KCo Consultants
Learn the email, voicemail and business card setup
Learn to update the KCo website using Dreamweaver
Edit Graphics using Photoshop and Illustrator
Learn to use spreadsheets in Excel
Create and modify presentations in PowerPoint and InDesign
We prefer interns to work 12 hours per week.
No skills are required, though basic computer skills are very helpful, in addition to a pleasant attitude, eagerness to learn, discipline to be on time and professional demeanor.
