In addition to advertising opportunities, we provide video production, website design, and on-site marketing to our clients. Job Title: Media Associate
Hours: 12+ hours week. Flexible times
Credit: Yes (contingent upon course of study and position filled)
Location: 2409 E. 9th St. Austin TX
Experience Required: Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills.
Basic computer applications experience a plus.
Qualifications: Sophomore-Senior standing.
Job Description:
Advertising- Research and prospecting of potential clients using online
analytical programs. Creation of media packets, proposals.
Depending on experience level, there will be opportunities to
work with clients from a sales side, and create unique
alternative advertising avenues to promote our website.
Public Relations- Provide important communication between HQ and the
communities we serve. Help manage our national support
individuals (based in 50 states), and the athletic teams and
individuals that use our site.
Communications Studies- Provide administrative help with all divisions of
our company, while learning the unique
challenges faced by each division.
Journalism- Author articles posted on our site, search and post
relevant articles into our news database, edit nationally
submitted articles, and cover live news events.
RTF- Help with the creation and editing of videos. Experience the
freedom to create your own videos, edit and make stylistic
decisions on submitted videos, and see them in action on our site.
