Guerra DeBerry Coody

Summer Internships

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Description: Spring board: The GDC Internship Program

Guerra DeBerry Coody (GDC), one of San Antonio's most dynamic full-service marketing and communications firms, is currently interviewing qualified, motivated students for internships. Our interns gain hands-on experience in each department - Account Service, Marketing, Public Relations and Creative - assisting with campaigns, media stewardship and proof of performance, research projects and much more.

A win-win situation

You need experience; we need enthusiastic assistance and assurance that our industry will be left in capable hands when we are old and gray.

Work a little, work a lot

We will work with you to set a schedule that matches your level of dedication, and meets any specific hour requirements you may have for class credit. As long as you can work within our office hours - M-F, 8:30-5:30 - we are entirely flexible.

Pick your preference

We accept interns in almost all of our departments. Whether you are interested in Account Service, Marketing, Graphic Design, Copywriting or Public Relations, you will get all the experience you crave.

In the middle of the action

We are in the heart of downtown San Antonio at 122 E. Houston Street. Historic building, close to everything, free parking.

Majors preferred

We would rather you be majoring (or at least minoring) in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations or another related field. Makes sense, right? But if you think you can convince us how a major in microbiology can make you a great addition to our team, bring it on.

Requirements

  • Must know Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Must be cool with getting paid in experience, not dollars.
