Description:
This position involves coordination of account service, public relations and marketing activities for various clients; building a prospect database; publicity recapping and competitive ad research; event planning and implementation assistance; press release writing and media list research; and some Internet research.
*Hours required: 16-24 hours a week (Flexible)
Qualifications:
Have either completed course work or have acquired practical experience in marketing or a related field.
Basic understanding of media relations, press releases, product promotion, and the ability to
work independently
Understanding of and experience in applied sustainability a plus
*Position is unpaid; however interns will be eligible for a stipend at the end of the internship up to $1,000, based on their performance and projects completed.
