Title: Paid Internship - Web Writing
Location: Downtown Austin, TX
Description: We are a global communications technology corporation seeking an intern for content writing and development for our Global Online team in downtown Austin, Texas.
The Web Content Intern will report to the Web Content Manager and must:
Have superior copywriting, copy editing and proof reading skills
Have experience working in a professional environment (corporate or agency)
Have expert knowledge of Microsoft Word
Have experience developing web content, marketing and/or advertising materials
Have a high-level understanding of the English language, vocabulary and grammar
Be able to coordinate projects
Be highly organized
Have a high attention to detail
Be able to conduct internet research
Adhere to tight schedules and make deadlines
Be mature and have the ability to stay motivated, dedicated and focused
Experience with blogging/social media, working with creative agencies, designers and web developers a plus.
College students or recent graduates with a degree in English, Communications, Journalism or Marketing/Advertising preferred. Applicants must be available to work 15-20 hours per week. Hours can be flexible to accommodate class schedules.
