HC&B Healthcare Communications is a full-service advertising firm with a strict focus on clients in the healthcare industry consumer and business to business. We are hiring two interns interested in gaining experience primarily in the account service department, while being exposed to all departments and obtaining a good perspective on how the agency departments interact and collaborate. This intern will also be exposed to agency/client processes. The internship is paid and available for academic credit.
Applicants should be majoring in communications or business and preferably be a junior or senior undergrad. They must also be available two to three days a week for at least four or five hours a day. Typically interns are in the office from 10 or 11 am until three or four pm.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as the Internet. Must be able to conduct extensive online research, multi-task on projects between several supervisors, take thorough notes and draft detailed documents. Must be confident, energetic, detail-oriented and professional in demeanor
