The Small Business Development Program (SBDP)provides no cost business assistance for small businesses at any stage of development, startup through expansion.

Duties

SBDP needs to reach small businesses in all industries throughout Austin to increase business listing on a free small business map and directory, LocallyAustin.org. The intern would assist in:
1. Refining and executing a marketing strategy to small businesses for LocallyAustin.org
2. Refining an executing a marketing strategy to the public for LocallyAustin.org
Reaching both markets could involve designing advertising, including tag lines, placing advertising in various media, developing a message for presentations to local business associations, and developing other marketing/advertising strategies including social media, events, etc.
