My companies are Clear Blue Ink and Too Kyoot, Inc., both operating from the same location. The first is a marketing and promotions company. We handle the management of printing, promotions, custom packaging, fulfillment and distribution. Our main clients are advertising agencies, state agencies and small businesses. We have also moved into the business of new product development and all which that entails. I am the sole owner and have been in business for almost five years. The second company, Too Kyoot, Inc. came from the "new product development" side of the first company. We are a brand new company with a newly developed product, Too Kyoot faux fur boot toppers, which we brought to market this past fall. We are in the early stages of the company, a true start up. We handle all of our own marketing - website development, copy writing, printed material, photo shoots, videos,etc. We also handle all the tangle aspects of the product itself - sourcing and purchasing of all raw materials,over seeing manufacturing at three facilities, sales, on-line order site management and product distribution (and anything else you can think of). Internship Duties

Both being small companies, and usually operating on a fairly tight budget,we all wear a lot of hats and switch constantly between marketing strategy to managing manufacturing, to sales, to printing to financials, etc. An intern would have the opportunity to participate in all of these areas and more, depending on his/her interests and skill level. A lot of the work will be following up on things in progress. With CBI it might be with a client, a printer, a vendor, a designer or just going through the mail. With Too Kyoot it might be anything from minor design work, web work, customer service, sales support, to inventory control and order fulfillment. It's a very casual work environment. Everyone gets along well and has a good time, in spite of the daily stress of running two companies at the same time.

Skills Required

Graphic design experience would be a big plus. Almost any aspect of the Advertising and PR world would be a good fit for both of my companies. Other good attributes would be good attitude, good work ethic and organizational skills.

Prior experience in the work force is not a necessity but wouldn't hurt. Primarily, we are looking for someone that is ready to learn, has a good attitude and a good work ethic. Things move fast and change a lot. I need someone who can think "out of the box", creatively but professionally, and can roll with minute by minute changes.
