Description

Curved Marketing, Inc. does public relations, branding, reputation management, social media, search engine optimization, web design and more for dozens of clients, ranging from small businesses to corporations. We are located at 600 W 28th Street, Suite 207, so very easy for students to get to with or without a car.

Internship Duties

Assist project managers with client projects. Depending on the students skills and/or how fast they learn, they might be helping with social media, (sharing, bookmarking,etc.), or helping to design a client's website or possibly writing the sales content for the website. Our company provides about 45 different services to clients, including video production and distribution, content, design, brand-building, and more. So the students would be involved in actual projects, but they would also be taught how and why we do each service.

Skills Required

Some understanding of advertising and public relations. We teach them how to apply the same principles involved in PR and Advertising to Online Marketing. Helpful skills; Photoshop, Video Creation, HTML, Writing, Sales Background, Knowing how to use social media.

Include in Application

Writing samples, samples of any websites they have built, including myspace or any others. A list of social networks they belong to and know how to use. Hours they would like to work. We are very flexible as to accommodate their classes as well.
