Internship Duties: Marketing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary: Under general direction, performs strategic clinical market demographic analysis and promotional and project planning; serves as marketing liaison to clients; utilizes various marketing methods to maximize resources; develops, tracks, and evaluates promotional publications and materials.

CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include any and or/all of the following:
 

1. Performs strategic clinical market demographic analysis of proposed promotional efforts.
2. Serves as marketing liaison to internal and external clients for development of marketing plans/strategies and expansion of clinical revenues; coordinates promotional efforts.
3. Develops, creates; and designs publications and promotional materials; performs creative writing; determines appropriate target audience for promotional effort; tracks and evaluates promotions for effectiveness and adapts promotions for future strategies and plans.
4. Develops and coordinates internal and external publication projects.
5. Participates with the clinical marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans; oversees implementation efforts.
6. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
