Description
International Conference Management is an event/tradeshow/expo company that manages and provides expos around the nation. We currently do about 10-12 shows per year, while attempting to secure international markets starting with Canada, this year.
Internship Duties
We currently are needing an intern to help us manage our fax broadcasting, email broadcasting, market research duties, as well as placing follow-up calls, etc. as related to our marketing efforts. For example, making initial contact with those who are purchasing ads in our resource magazine, as well as make follow up calls with those companies after a proof is designed. An intern would make these calls, not just for the design department but for the event department also.
Skills Required
Statistics, writing, and use of excel for our email and fax programs. We also use vertical response and accelero, so knowledge or the ease of learning these two programs is useful. If we could find someone with some general web skills, even better.
