Pick My Scratch-Off

Pick My Scratch-Off is an Austin based startup that evaluates state lottery scratch-off tickets and determines which scratch-offs have the best odds on a given day. Our product consists of performing statistical analysis on claimed prize information reported by the state lottery commissions and determines which tickets have favorable odds. Our proprietary financial models rank the scratch-offs and deliver the rankings to a digital kiosk at the point of sale. The product is offered free of charge to both the convenience store and the consumer. Our business model consists of generating revenue from advertising space on the digital kiosks. Due to our unique positioning in convenience stores, we have an opportunity to deliver advertising directly at the cash register as clients are checking out.

Internship Duties
Develop the Monetization of the Product

• Establish relationships with vendors, Liquor/Beer Reps, Food Reps, etc.
• Determine price point at which we can sell advertising
• Sell the advertising space to companies
• Collaborate with our advertiser's creative teams to develop advertisements
• Determine which convenience stores generate higher advertising price points

Skills Required

• Outgoing personality and strong communication skills
