Company overview:
The Preiss Company is the 12th largest off-campus student housing provider in the United States. Our communities in Austin include University Estates at Austin, University Village in Austin and The Heights on Oltorf. We are the largest student housing provider in Austin, Texas. The Preiss Company Austin Marketing division provides marketing to all three properties in one consolidated effort.
Duties:
- Planning
- Organizing and implementing party functions
- Concierge services and clubhouse amenities
- Design, execute and monitor annual corporate marketing plan and plans for each property site
What you will gain:
Interns will gain experience in research, planning and execution of various corporate marketing tactics, ensuring they are properly representative of company brand values, for sales, development and property management as well as networking among college campuses across Austin.
Hours:
Interns will work between 180 to 200 hours a semester.
Tasks:
Event promotions and corporate branding
Administrative Work: work on budgeting for each event while delegating event tasks
Communicate with management, co-workers and property management staff
