Internship Duties

While we cannot pay you for your time and effort (you'll get college credit, which brings you that much closer to graduating [yay!]), we can assure you that you will not be pushing paper (what does that even mean?), making coffee (we have a really fancy coffee maker that makes a great cup of coffee with the push of a button), or sitting bored on Facebook (you can do that at home). There might be a few tasks that are less-than-appealing, but even the highest paid employees do those things from time to time.

Mostly you’ll be working on projects that matter: public relations, SEO, press releases, pitching to the media, blogging, website copy, social media, brand ambassador programs, and we’ll even let you work on things that most excite you.

We want this to be a great experience for both of us. Plus, we want you to go back to school in the Fall and brag to your friends that YOU had the best internship.

Though not a traditional agency setting, at Blinds.com, you’ll get real life experience, working at a real company, garnering PR for a brand that’s on the rise in a major way.

 

Skills Required

1. Writing skills
2. Graphic design and programming skills would be helpful, though not necessary (Dreamweaver & Firefox)
3. Knowledge and real-world experience with social media tools
