Capitol Home Health is a home health care company in Austin Texas that provides quality healthcare to people in the comfort of their own home. We have physical therapists and registered nurses that care for the patients in-home. Our company is fairly new and we are looking for a great group of marketers to help spread the word that there is a new, family owned and operated, home health care company here in Austin!
Internship Duties
Our interns will be marketing our products and services (home health care) around Austin. More specifically, each marketer will be assigned a handful of Dr's Offices or Clinics to be responsible for checking in on and visiting on a weekly basis. We want you to get to know their staff, bring them breakfast, schedule work parties for our referring companies, and be the all-around liason of our company in the eyes of these referring clinicians (doctors and their nurses). When these doctors have patients coming out of surgery that need to go home and receive care, we want them to think of Capitol Home Health, and that is your job!
*If you do not have medical or healthcare experience, no problem at all! This job is marketing and keeping up relations with our referring vendors. Plus, we have an awesome director that is always here to help answer questions and even accompany you on your visits if you'd like!*
This internship could lead to full time or part time employment if it's the right fit.
Skills Required
Strong public relations and marketing abilities. We want people that are not afraid to meet new people or walk into an office with coffees for the staff with a handful of our brochures and business cards. Our marketers are outgoing and confident people and the more personality you have, the better! You will be asked to do occasional clerical work that consists mostly of creative work such as designing postcards or making monthly event calendar/flyers.
