Description
1080, Inc. has seven spacious edit suites featuring AVID & Final Cut offline, Lustre color correction, Smoke/Inferno visual effects and Adobe Suite stations. Every system is HD capable; be it a file or tape-based workflow. Our Engine Room can handle any tape format, as well as the compression, transcoding and posting of whatever file format today’s volatile production world can throw at it. We can cut it, conform it, revise it, color it, and then combine it seamlessly with some of the best 2D, 3D and Visual Effects in the country.
Internship Duties
Basic duties include lunch and coffee runs and basically anything the faculty needs such as assisting them during projects. The program offers excellent hands on experience and is fun.
Interns get an over all observation of post production- including tape operators, editors, graphics, artists, and producers. More details will be explained during the interviewing process. This is a non-paying internship, although they do get reimbursed for the errands that they run plus eating arrangements.
Skills Required
We prefer to give internships to Academic applicants who are interested in post-production advertising.
