Description

DoStuff Media runs Do512, Do312, and Do713, which are interactive event calendar sites for Austin, Chicago, and Houston respectively. Hundreds of thousands of people each month use these sites to find out about music, art, theater, film and special events happening around town.

Additionally, we work with large music festivals like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, New Orleans Jazz Fest managing the lineup, artist info & scheduling portions of their websites.

Internship Duties

DoStuff Media's content and marketing intern will be responsible for content entry and maintenance needs on DoStuff Media websites (Do512, Do713, Do 312 etc)

Interns have the opportunity to learn firsthand how a new media company operates, network, and make a variety of exciting and useful contacts at both DoStuff Media and across our network.

Candidate should ideally be looking to fill a college credit requirement. This is negotiable, but candidate will have to prove ability to take on such an important role if not seeking credit.

Skills Required

Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong, proven writing skills, with examples.

A passion for music and entertainment

Self-Motivated - ability to focus and complete duties in a casual environment.
