We were born as Kolar Advertising & Marketing 21 years ago, becoming one of the largest independent agencies in the region. In September, we rebranded and merged with the creative boutique SJ&J renaming ourselves Proof Advertising. Proof has 70 people on staff in Austin, Texas.

We cut our teeth on complex channel marketing challenges for 3M (founding client) and still work with several business units. We spent 10 years working with Dell across consumer and business-to-business categories, becoming a go-to agency as they grew from 2002 to 2009. We won two markets of Subway’s local business in mid-2005 (450 stores with $4 million in billings) and turned that into 31 markets (4,000+ stores with over $30 million in billings) by 2010. We have been honored to be the agency of record for clients such as Baylor University, Cargill and Austin Tourism providing full contact support from branding/positioning to digital. We have served our country as a part of the U.S. Army team of agencies. And along the way, we have had a lot of fun doing what we do.

 

Internship Duties

The Interactive Media Intern will assist the Interactive Media Planner/Buyers with the following duties:
- Completing buys, including entering orders into our accounting system
- Issuing agency insertion orders
- Assisting with research as needed

The intern will also have an opportunity to learn about other departments within the agency through our Summer Internship Program. The internship is 15-20 hours per week for approximately 10 weeks.

 

Skills Required

  • Advertising Major - Interactive Media track
  • Knowledge of media software a plus
  • Previous internship experience a plus
