About:
Restaurant Freedom is a full-service management company that owns and operates Austin Java, Uncle Billy's, Little Woodrow's, Texadelphia and Ski Shores Cafe as well as other Austin institutions. The Restaurant Freedom offices are located on South Lamar.
Hours: Flexible, 2-3 days per week, 9-15 hours per week
Time frame: Fall semester
Requirements:
- Social Media savvy
- Strong working knowledge of Facebook and Twitter
- Interest in Public Relations and promotions
- Marketing smarts and understanding
- Excellent writing skills
- Sense of humor, creativity and wit
Description:
In this internship you will assist the marketing department in promotions and campaigns for multiple businesses using social media outlets and tactics. You will assist in establishing and maintaining brand identity and personality as well as establish top-of-mind awareness among key consumers. You will assist in brain storming sessions and the creation of social media campaigns and promotions that you will have the opportunity to execute and track.
Daily duties include updating and monitoring Twitter and Facebook accounts, monitoring all web presence of each brand, assisting in promotions of annual events and specials, implementing and tracking campaigns, market research and target searching key publics and consumer groups.
