Skills Required
CEHI is seeking assistance in creating a website content management system, building presence on social networks and using Internet tools more effectively to: improve communication process, increase visibility, speed-up and streamline work, fundraise and provide e-learning in a user friendly and easily navigable approach. Supporting skills include, but are not limited to, the following: possess a basic understanding of computers, their operation and their role in social networking, and the fundamentals of online Internet operations; knowledge of the importance of the most appropriate computer programs to produce the intended result; familiarity with the multitude of Web-based products that offer new networking and social marketing opportunities and ability to proficiently perform research on the Internet to capture and organize Web-based information. Candidates must understand principles of good design and navigation to maximize usability, be proficient in Internet related applications and able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

The Children's Environmental Health Institute (CEHI) was established in 1999 to address adverse health effects to children occurring as a consequence of their exposure to environmental toxic substances. The mission of the Children's Environmental Health Institute is to support education initiatives to improve children's health with an emphasis on their micro (immediate area) environments. CEHI is committed to decreasing the prevalence and consequences of environmentally related childhood diseases and establishing networks and ways of distributing information that will protect children.
