Patient Privacy Rights (PPR) was established in 2005 as a non-profit organization that works to ensure patients have control over their medical information. Activities include advocating for strong patient privacy protections in both state and federal legislation; providing patient education and support regarding patients' medical privacy rights; and organizing and hosting the annual International Summit on Health Privacy, which is the only conference dedicated solely to addressing patient privacy issues and policies. We regularly communicate with large corporations, the White House, and national press. We are a small team, but we think big; we are seeking interns who will do the same as they jump in and run with our quickly growing organization!
