The Dallas Stars Hockey Club is a member of the National Hockey League (NHL) and have been playing in Texas since the 1993-94 season.

Duties

 

The Dallas Stars are seeking a bright, earnest individual to fill the role of communications apprentice for the Spring 2012 semester. The communications apprentice will be responsible for assisting the Communications Department in all facets of media relations for the club. The apprenticeship is a paid position or may be taken for college credit. Specific qualifications and expectations are listed below:
 
- Assist with game day preparations at Stars Executive Offices (Frisco, TX) and American Airlines
Center (Dallas, TX)
- Assist with statistical research for production of game notes
- Compile and distribute daily news clips
- Maintain media-specific website and email distribution lists
- Assist with social media initiatives
- Maintain archive of games notes/stats and game summaries
- Create content for official Dallas Stars magazine
- Other projects as assigned
