Chaos 2006 Conference a Success!

Roy Spence, Keith Reinhard, and Bob Garfield at Chaos 2006

On November 17 and 18, there was a successful meeting of the minds in Austin, Texas in the form of the Chaos 2006 Conference. There were many moments of success and the feedback thus far has indicated that Chaos 2006 did indeed address many of the current challenges facing ad agencies, advertisers and educators today.

The conference revolved around the core concepts involving modern technology and cultural shifts related to advertising. These dynamics have produced new communities, new media and delivery. The fundamental concepts of creative dominance and media planning have been redefined with the advent of consumer content and targeted delivery. Clearly, what once was radical is now commonplace.

Chaos 2006 presented a distinguished series of speakers including:

Bob Garfield, Columnist, Advertising Age and Co-Host, NPR's On the Media

Keith Reinhard, CEO Emeritus, DDB WorldWide/President, Business for Diplomatic Action</li>

Allen Rosenshine, Chairman, BBDO Worldwide

Panel discussion were also created to showcase a wide array of industry leaders, some of whom have established the practice of advertising and others who are now initiating the thoughts and methods that are changing it.
