Are you ready for the Spring Communication Career Fair?
Whether you are graduating and looking for your dream job or searching for a summer internship come check out the Communication Job & Internship Fair!
The fair will take place April 3, 2012 at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium North End Zone - The Club and career services wants to help you prepare.
Here is a quick overview of things to consider before, during and after the event.
Before
· Practice your "elevator speech" out loud.
· Plan your attire.
· Research, research, research
· Keep it manageable.
· Decide what you are going to bring.
During
· Survey the room and make a game plan.
· Anticipate speaking with each recruiter for about five minutes.
· Do a little eavesdropping.
· Write down notes after each visit with a recruiter.
After
· Follow up within two days to stand out after the fair.
· Apply online.
