DDP Worldwide Lecture in Creativity

On Oct. 4, 2001, Keith Reinhard, Chairman of DDB, presented the final DDB Worldwide Lecture in Creativity, "Thoughts on Reinventing Advertising." According to university officials, the alliance between the University of Texas and DDB was such a huge success that it is probable their relationship will be renewed for future endeavors. Over 600 students, faculty, staff, and advertising professionals from the community attended the concluding lecture. Reinhard's lecture lead the audience on a journey of the future of advertising by using commercials from the 1960s and ending with examples of what advertising might be in the future.

In his lecture, Reinhard's blueprint for the "Agency of the Future" calls for a nimble organization capable of being big and small, local and global, bundled and unbundled and still able to form and reform itself in response to the changing needs of clients. As Chairman of DDB, Reinhard is responsible for the largest agency network in the United States and the third largest agency network in the world.
