Dr. Brad Love Wins Texas Exes Teaching Award

The Texas Exes Teaching Awards have been recognizing exceptional teachers across the UT campus every year for almost 30 years. This year, Dr. Brad Love was chosen as the Communication School’s recipient. Nominated by students, an award was given to a faculty member of each college. Professors are chosen with input from students and members of the college, including the Communication Council.

The Texas Exes Teacher Awards intend to showcase and reward teachers that are well liked by students, true role models, and have an encouraging influence on their students. Dr. Love was notified in December, and then there was a reception held on February 8, 2011 at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center. Each award recipient received $1000 and a certificate. The students who had nominated him were present at the awards banquet, along with the recipients from the other colleges.
