Jamie Onorofski from Starcom IP recently met with students in the Texas Interactive and Texas Media programs in the Department of Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin. Jamie's presentation focused on the use of interactive media in advertising and presented several successful case studies from Starcom IP.
Jamie is a 2003 graduate of the MA program in Advertising where she completed her Professional Report on Advertising and Digital Consumer Technologies. Her PR provided an overview of emerging technological devices that have been designed specifically for personal consumer use -- wireless phones, personal digital assistants and Global Positioning Systems. In addition to a comprehensive historical perspective, she interviewed current industry professionals to gain insight into their knowledge and opinions in regard to wireless advertising and its future. She credits her PR with helping give her the "edge" she needed in today's marketplace.
