Student Spotlight on Twitter with #AdGradHappyHour

For those looking for a job or those who just want to share their work, Texas Advertising is highlighting student and alumni work on its new Twitter page every Tuesday at 4 p.m. CST for #AdGradHappyHour.  This is an opportunity for the Department to share its brightest and most talented minds from the program to everyone in the Twitter world -- including potential employers. Recent studies have shown that recruiters are early adopters of social media because they are always looking for top talent

Want to be featured on #AdGradHappyHour? Please direct message (DM) @TexasAdGrad the following pieces of information:

1. Your full name.

2. Your twitter page.

3. Your concentration or track.

4. A link to your online presence: portfolio, blog, or resume (a complete LinkedIn profile will suffice).

5. The year you graduated (include B.S., M.A., or PhD).

6. Indicate whether you are looking for a job, or just want to share your work.

All blogs or portfolios should showcase original content related to advertising, course work and also display intelligence and understanding of the advertising industry. If you cannot fit it on a tweet, email us at texasadgrad@gmail.com.
