Texas Advertising sponsors Consumer Racial Profiling Symposium

On Tuesday, March 30 the Department of Advertising sponsored a symposium entitled: Consumer Racial Profiling:

Perspectives from the Classroom, Courtroom, and Boardroom. This event was part of The University of Texas at Austin Ethics and Branding Speaker Series. Department Chair Isabella Cunningham notes, "our symposium was a great opportunity for faculty and students to learn a great deal about consumer profiling."

Speakers for the symposium included: Dr. Jerome D. Williams, F. J. Heyne Centennial Professor, UT Austin, Anne-Marie G. Harris, Esq., Salem State College School of Business, Dr. Geraldine R. Henderson, Howard University/Visiting Professor at Darden Business School at the University of Virginia, Paul Mollica, Meites, Mulder, Burger & Mollica, Randall L. Oyler, Barack Ferrazzana Kirschbaum Perlman & Nagelberg LLC , Cletus P. Ernster, III, Chargois & Ernster, L.L.P. among others.

Three sessions explored perspectives from the classroom, the courtroom and the boardroom.
