StrawberryFrog believes in treating its employees extremely well, from a gourmet chef to a nap pod, and Laura LeBel describes the culture as "the paradise of advertising." As a Junior Art Director, LeBel enjoys the perks at StrawberryFrog, but ensures that its employees still put in grueling hours and work extremely hard.

LeBel graduated from the graduate advertising program at UT in May of 2005 and found her first job in advertising about eight months afterwards. She interned at Crispin Porter + Bogusky during the summer between her first and second years.

At UT, LeBel learned a lot about how her brain works and the best ways she concepts. She also says that her classes helped her know about the business in general and understand what goes on in the other departments at her agency, but wishes she learned more interactive and final production skills.

Long hours are the nature of the business, LeBel says, but you should go into advertising because you love it. She says UT will get you the skills and the knowledge, but be extremely ambitious because the rest is up to you.
