Texas Creative Grad Student Receives 4 ADDY Awards
A few weeks ago, Leigh Browne, a Texas Creative Grad student, received a total of four ADDY awards. She applied with projects she had done while in the Portfolio 3 class, and she has submitted work towards other awards that are currently in the process of being decided. This was her first time to enter the ADDY awards.
She won four awards, including two for packaging design, one for poster, and one for print. One of the ADDY’s she won for packaging design was for Muscle Milk, and was with Jon Williamson. The other award she won for packaging design was for Scotties Tissue with Aubrey Day. The poster was for the Boys & Girls Club and was in collaboration with Jenna Moeller. The print ad was for Emile Henry Bakeware and was done with Abby Kaplan.
Leigh received her undergrad at Webster University in St. Louis. She graduated in 2001 and worked in journalism and then marketing for a total of about 8 years. After a break from school, she decided in 2009 to attend UT to receive her masters.
