Texas Creative Launches New Website

The Department of Advertising's Texas Creative sequence has just launched a new website that showcases the world-famous program and the great work that Texas Creative students do. The website is a portal where prospective students and potential employers can browse through student work and get information about the program's goals, curriculum, and industry outreach initiatives.

Currently the website features a collection of award winning student work. Students featured on the site include recent hires by some of the advertising industry's most noted agencies, such as Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Cole+Weber, Strawberryfrog, and TBWA Chiat/Day.

There are plans to introduce new content in the very near future. Among the expected additions are student design and typography projects, as well as previews of work that will be sent to various events, like the One Club Student Exhibition that will take place this spring in New York. At the end of the semester, the site will post the best work from this spring's graduating students as part of their official introduction to the hiring world.

Potential employees and alumni have already been notified about the launch of the new portal, and the department will continue to get the word out. "Our alumni," says Sean Thompson of the Texas Creative faculty, "are happy to see our new presence on the web. We're working on more ways to include them in sections of the site, and to create an online community that they can visit from their offices far and wide. We've got a ton more to do that stretches beyond this beta version, some top secret stuff. So stay tuned."
