Texas Creative Students are One Show College Competition Finalists
The Texas Creative program has been honored with four finalist entries in the 2008 One Club College Competition.
This year's competition asked students to work on one of two briefs: generate a print/television/nontraditional campaign for Doritos, or design a public service poster for a cause of the student's choosing. Texas Creative students are finalists for both projects.
The following nine students were recognized for their work:
Dev Gupta, Travis Weber, Dale Austin, and David Soames Gonzales (Doritos print campaign)
Joel White, Lauren Zaffaroni, and Leanne Amann (Doritos print campaign)
Ashley George (Poster design, "Hillary 08")
Stephen Reidmiller (Poster design, "National Institutes of Health")
Their work is in the running to receive a coveted One Show pencil. Their work will be published in the 2008 One Show Annual and will be featured as part of a traveling exhibition.
Additionally, a pair of graduate students, Alyssia Palacios and Dustin Davis, were selected to participate in the 2008 One Show Client Pitch Competition, where they will present strategic planning and creative work to a select panel of judges, including agency luminaries and representatives from Doritos.
The students will be traveling to New York in early May to learn the final results of the competition at the One Show Student Awards Party.
- Congratulations to Texas Creative!
