TexasInteractive Works with UT Co-op
An exciting project, involving students and faculty from TexasInteractive, the UT Co-op, and Craig Way, has just begun. The interactive students and faculty are working with the UT Co-op as they bring exclusive UT football game day predictions from Craig Way to the Co-op's website. Way, along with Bill Schoening, are regarded as the voices of UT Football.
Way agreed to make game day predictions as well as to analyze the team match-up for each game. The interactive students and faculty videotape Way each week and post the video on the Co-op's website where "Craig's Prediction" can be accessed by Longhorn fans around the world.
Mr. George Michell, president of the Co-Op states, "We are happy to have the voice of the Longhorns on our web site. 41% of the season ticket holders are outside of the Austin area and they do not receive Craig Way's daily radio program." Way has a passion for all sports. He is currently a radio talk show host with KVET and the host for Fox Sports Southwest's High School Extra Live, a highlight show airing on Friday nights in the Austin area.
TexasInteractive faculty member Dr. Gary Wilcox comments, "It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to obtain real world experience working with a client on a project from start to finish. The Co-op has been a good business partner and has made this an educational and entertaining experience for everyone involved."
