Warren Berger to Speak at Texas Advertising
Warren Berger, author and advertising journalist, will visit the university on Friday, April 8 as part of this semester's Times-Mirror Creative Lecture Series entitled EDGE Keeping Creative Sharp. The lecture will take place in the Flawn Academic Center, room 21 from 3:00 until 5:00pm. The title of Berger's lecture is "Live Well and Work Better" in which he will discuss using adventure and full living for your work.
Berger is the author of Advertising Today and No Opportunity Wasted. Advertising Today was named one of the "Best Books of 2001" by Barnes & Noble. He also serves as the Executive Editor of One Magazine and has served as a contributing editor to Wired magazine. He has also written for various publications including Advertising Age, AdWeek, Graphis, Communication Arts, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, GQ, and Men's Journal.
