The deadline for Fall 2008 was December 15, 2007. We admit new students
for the Fall semesters only. Please refer to the Graduate
Brochure (Acrobat PDF format), page 12, for detailed information
on admission procedures.
The Department of Advertising strongly encourages applicants to fill

Graduate Application when applying to the program.
Degrees Offered
The University of Texas Department of Advertising offers a number of
options for graduate study.
There are four basic degrees:
M.A. in Advertising without Thesis/Professional Report

M.A. in Advertising with Professional Report

In addition, the College of Communication offers several dual-degree
programs. One of the most popular of these, for students of advertising,
